The use of this bouquet in the wedding will symbolize true love and the commitment the bride and the groom will be making to each other.

To make a love knot wedding bouquet is not so easy. But once you finish it, you will forget about the hard work that went into it. You might also try making another one. So with out wasting anymore time let us start with the bouquet making procedure.

To get started you will need scissors, wire cutters, floral wire and green floral tape. Apart from these accessories you will require satin ribbon of different lengths. One satin ribbon of 1 and half inches by 2 and half yards. The second ribbon should be 1 inch by 3 and a half yards. Your third ribbon needs to be 5/8 inch wide by 10 ½ yard and the last satin ribbon should be 3/8 inch wide by 21yards. Now as for the dried flowers you will need 10 large dried roses, 8 rose buds and 18 of the small dried roses.

  • First of all you will have to make two bows. For this use the first and the second ribbons to make a 10 inch and a 12 inch loop respectively.
  • Using the first two ribbons for the bow you will have two more ribbons with you. Cut the third 5/8 inch ribbon into six 8 inch pieces and four 7 ft pieces. Of the other 3/8 inch ribbon cut nine 7 ft pieces of this fourth ribbon.
  • Thirdly make six loops out of each 8 inch ribbons. You may use the floral wire to join the loops together.
  • Next, get your nine 7 ft ribbons and fold them into half. Then using floral wire join all the 7 ft ribbons together. This will separate the ribbons into two halves. On half tie an over hand knot at an interval of 1 ft and on the other half a knot after every 1 ½ ft. leave this ribbon arrangement aside.

Now you have to arrange your flowers. Wire all your dried roses and the buds making a love knot, into an 8 inch piece of floral wire. Then get all your flowers together and wrap their stems loosely with a floral wire. Now into this wire wrap place your small roses. After that place the ribbon loops of the third step into the center of the bouquet. Then you will have to insert the knotted ribbons into the bottom of the bouquet. This way the ribbons will trail below the flowers. This will be the handle. Now the last part of the bouquet making procedure is attaching the two bows to the handle of the bouquet. In order to hide the wire from visibility, use the green floral tape.

This love knot wedding bouquet made up of dry flowers, you will not forget nor will the people who will attend the wedding ceremony.
